Descrição
A one-off audiovisual blast to celebrate independent online music store Bleep’s 10th birthday, as part of Convergence – a new music and technology series
Andrew Hung & Benjamin John Power’s tracks rang out during the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony and – after four years of silence – their self-produced Slow Focus (ATP Recordings) was one of last year’s most widely acclaimed albums.
Fuck Buttons’ music is towering, evocative and penetrating. Tonight, all your senses will be under attack, as they create a state-of-the-art multi-sensory experience with visuals specially commissioned for the occasion.
Dom Maker and Kai Campos (Mount Kimbie) co-headline the evening with an exclusive audiovisual collaboration with Igor Zimmerman. Mount Kimbie’s influence stretches far beyond the tiny corner of the dance music underground that birthed them. Their debut release for Warp Records, Cold Spring Fault Less Youth ‘refuses to court the mundane’ (The Line of Best Fit) with an exciting move towards live instrumentation, while remaining ‘a distinctly electronic album, and a modern one as well’ (Pitchfork).
After the show, stay until late at our free ClubStage and get lost inside Austrian producer Fennesz’s guitar and computer symphonic landscapes, paired with visuals by Berlin-based video artist Lillevan.
