Descrição

The story of Beth Hart is one of extreme highs and extreme lows. There are two particular factors that illustrate this. First, her voice: when she sings, clocks stop, hearts dance, and neck-hair tingles, it's that compelling. The second is her rollercoaster story: in the late 90s, Beth Hart was on the cusp of a promising music career, signed to a major U.S. label, appearances on national television, with hit singles and great press. However, her career and life veered off the tracks as she dealt with her drug and alcohol addiction, in addition to an at the time unmedicated bipolar disorder. But Beth Hart is as strong and determined as she is talented. She got clean and sober. She married her husband and best friend, Scott Guetzkow.

And it was then that Beth Hart began to craft a comeback. She worked, and she toured, and she collaborated, and things began to turn around. The celebrated singer counts musical luminaries such as Joe Bonamassa (their album SeeSaw was nominated for a Grammy in 2013 for Best Blues Album), Jeff Beck, Slash and Buddy Guy as fans and friends - and for good reason. Beth Hart's extraordinary voice, her amazing musical ability and live performances will leave you both in awe and mesmerized. With her recent show-stopping Kennedy Center Honours performance with Jeff Beck that gave tribute to blues great Buddy Guy, and the US, European and Australian release of her latest album Bang Bang Boom Boom, Beth Hart is rightly back where she should be, in control, on top and creating beautiful music with that marvelous voice.

Beth's standing-ovation performance at his tribute led Buddy Guy to invite her to sing on his latest album Rhythm & Blues. She is a powerhouse performer who has left standing ovations across the US and Europe in her wake. Beth Hart has turned the act of singing into an out-of-body experience, something both intensely physical and tangibly metaphysical.

Beth Hart's story is one of incredible opportunity, heartbreaking loss, dedication to her craft and now, redemption on a grand scale, both personally and professionally.

With a new live album/ DVD with Joe Bonamassa titled Live In Amsterdam out in March and plans to record a new solo album in August, and a recent Blues Music Awards nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Female Artist, Beth Hart is back at the very top of her game.
