Tokyo Blade is an English heavy metal band, active since 1982. Tokyo Blade is one of the many acts considered part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement from the late 1970s / early 1980s. Tokyo Blade went through many changes of formation and disbanded twice, often changing their musical style during the years of activity. However, the band is still active today, with three of the original members in the line-up.

Tokyo Blade est un groupe britannique de heavy metal formé en 1982 par le bassiste Andy Robbins et le guitariste Andy Boulton. Le groupe faisait partie de la NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal). Le groupe sortit plusieurs LP et démos dans les années 1980. Tokyo Blade a connu de nombreux changements de ses membres, a été dissous deux fois et a souvent changé de style musical au cours des années d'activité. Toutefois, le groupe est toujours actif aujourd'hui, avec trois des membres originaux dans la formation actuelle.
