The post-punk group RA from Malmö, Sweden has only played for a few years, but got from the beginning a lot of attention for their two singles on YouTube. It’s raw and right on, with reserved vocals and rattling guitars, and with a large dose of no-bullshit attitude. RA has released an EP called ‘Bloodline’ and is about to release an new single this summer. This summer they have been playing a lot all over Scandinavian and will also play at this years Roskilde festival. ALPHA WAVES
Alpha Waves’ dark timbre conjures up images of a white winter landscape. Consisting of bass, drums and guitar, their sound is transcending genre, mainly resides between post-punk and cold wave, interspersed with psychedelic ambience. The songs are minimalistic and raw, noisy guitars will embrace you and take you on a journey through mysterious woods. Alpha Waves have played shows including the Reeperbahn-Festival 2012 as well as supporting gigs for Holograms, Cosmonauts and more.
