Descrição

To celebrate the outstanding success of Jon Hopkins’ sold out show at Brixton Academy, Soundcrash carry on the party at Brixton Jamm for one incredible All- Nighter. With the line-up curated by Jon Hopkins, the After-party will feature DJ Sets from Nathan Fake, Andrew Hung, Vessels, Wesley Matsell and more….

Ticket holders of the Brixton Academy gig receive a discounted ticket price, and general After-party tickets will also be on sale, for one incredible evening….

Hailing from the unlikely Norfolk, Nathan Fake has quickly become a prominent authority in contemporary electronica music. With his debut album, ‘Drowning In The Sea Of Love’, Border Community took advantage of Fake’s innovative sound to establish the artist as one of the founding representatives of the Intelligent Dance Music movement. Three albums later and Fake continues to be an idiosyncratic powerhouse – launching his own label, Cambria Instruments, in 2014 with Wesley Matsell.

“Progressive techno’s poster-boy” with a “beautiful, producerly touch.” - Pitchfork

Producer and musician, Andrew Hung, sets to release his first solo EP following Fuck Buttons’ success. Attempting to find inspiration on the road, Hung’s EP is written and performed entirely on a Nintendo Game Boy. Hung continues the evolution of electronic creativity, all while maintaining his emphasis of having fun.

“Hung tweaks the frantic energy of Nintendo games into a paintball-splattered techno-stomp with only the faintest jolt of nostalgia.” - Fact Magazine

Following their first release, Vessels was tipped by BBC Radio 1 as one of the best new bands in the country. The group continues to build from this momentum upon the release of their 2015 studio album, “Dilate”, for a fresh and intelligent sound.

“What really works in Dilate’s favour is that this is very much an album, an experience that’s designed through its pacing and mastering to be taken in a single sitting.” - The Quietus

The famously eclectic Wesley Matsell sets are known to include the full evolution of dance music, drawing from electroacoustic, acid house, hardcore and rave. Matsell prides himself on ignoring genre boundaries to produce this refreshing sound.

“Rooted in avant techno spheres, there’s a commitment to invention here which doesn’t sacrifice its over-riding physicality.” - Clash Magazine
