The almost epiphanic conclusion I've come to that it's time for me to take up electric guitar. Hard to explain how big and exciting a decision this is for me. I used to play saxophone, some years ago, but haven't picked it up since I graduated high school. Back when I started playing sax, my music world was very small. It consisted mostly of things that my mother listened to. In short, I had no music taste of my own yet. I listened to a lot of R&B and soul and generally wasn't into any recent pop or hip-hop or rock like my friends were. I listened to the music my mother grew up with, and I loved it, and that was good enough for me.
