1, What's your favorite song by 15? (Anathema)
Ooh, I guess it has to be Forgotten Hopes. Though, Deep and TocarRegret are great too. I guess I should have to give a listen to their other stuff, I'm getting stuck with only 3 of their albums. :D

2, How did you get into 20? (Katatonia)
Was seeking similar bands to Rapture. Saw many times it was greatly inspired from Katatonia's Brave Murder Day. Their only album I listen to, actually, I don't enjoy their recent works much. :/

3, Who is your favorite member in 1? (Viikate)
Kaarle is an amazing guy. <3 I love the way he sing, he dresses... He looks so mature, not one more "metalkid". I love his style and behavior. (Hey, I am no gay!!)

4, Whats your favorite lyric bit by 29? (Catamenia)
There are lyrics? :D Well, the only bit I understood was the chorus from TocarTribe of Eternity. Not killer thing though, "We come from north, the tribe of eternity", blabla... Oh, I find that this sentence "The world you create serves nothing but senseless hate" is cool. :P Not amazing lyricists anyway.

5, Have you ever seen 22 live? (Equilibrium)
Never, but it would be killer. Really happy band, folk gives the best gigs since it has a real "party" feeling in it. Would love to see them. <3

6, What's your favorite album from 10? (Sadetanssi)
Well, I wouldn't advise it anyway, but it's Laihoilla hartioilla. Sticked to that band for a while, but all in all, it's quite average finnish pop. Oh, they did a cool work though. :)

7, Do you own any merchandise from 3? (Rapture)
Yeah! A copy of "Silent Stage" handsigned by mister Aleksi Ahokas. :)

8, What is a good memory you have of 7? (Verenpisara)
Hmmm... The only thing I can remember was a long road-trip at night I made while listening to them a lot. Sticked on Harvoin which is a damn great song. :) It has some dark feeling inside... that makes me tend to listen to this band more at night.

9, Is there a member of the same age as you in 2? (Apulanta)
I don't know and I don't give a shit. :D Well according to their punkish style, I just hope they're younger than me... :P

10, When did you first get into 8? (Disarmonia Mundi)
Not long ago... A friend sent me a song through msn. I liked it and I bou... erm, downloaded their other stuff.

11, Who likes 4 along with you? (Skyfire)
Hardly noone, and they don't know what they miss. :/ This band has to be one of the best melodeath around, it's just killer, amazing, perfect, flawless and... Well, I love them. Started playing guitars when I got hooked on their rhythms, too. :)

12, Which song did you first hear from 16? (Eluveitie)
I guess it was Inis Mona though it's not my favorite from them. I just kept on listening and discovered they were great musicians. I especially appreciate the fact they use true instruments instead of keyboards.

13, What song made you fall in love with 5? (Before the Dawn)
Mmh, either TocarDeadsong or TocarDying Sun. Both are great anyway, and this band is really worth listening to. Talented musicians if you ask me.

14, Which song do you not like by 18? (Dark Lunacy)
Wow. :D There must be a lot since I just listen to one of their albums, which is The Diarist. :P Even on that one, there are sucky songs... like, heh, On Memory's White Sleigh.

15, Why do you like 14's songs? (Don Huonot)
It has to be one of the best and diverse pop band. :) They play mature songs, their singer sounds great, it's not "happy"-pop either, most of their stuff is actually quite dark. Check Mustaan uneen for example.

16, Where did you first hear 6? (Amoral)
At home, in my room, in front of my PC, after a quick download. Like, well... most of my stuff. :D

17, How long was 19 a singer before you liked them? (Kotiteollisuus)
How lol is this a question ? This is a band, first, not a singer, and I actually don't know, but I guess it has been roughly 10 years, those guys have been playing a lot.

18, Does 13 have a song that gives you a bad memory? (In Mourning)
Actually, they have lots of, I used to listen to them a lot while playing to Lineage II, which is indeed a bad memory since I've been wasting a lot of time on that sucky game, I just hate it now. :P TocarPast October Skies (the black lodge revisited) is the first one that comes to my mind.

19, When did you get into 17? (Moonsorrow)
Mmh, I guess it was roughly in 2002. Been a while, anyway, long time fav-band, they're great!

20, How long have you been into 9? (God Is an Astronaut)
Not long ago. I was trying to find some instrumental stuff for me to relax between raw death and brutal pagan metal. :D That fits perfectly, believe me!

21, If 11 had a concert 300 miles away, would you drive there to see them? (Summoning)
Hey, they never gave any gig and will actually never. If that could happen, I believe I'd go yeah.

22, How many CDs do you own of 12? (Kalmah)
None, I'm just not enough into their stuff to buy any. If I did, that'd be The Black Watlz though, this album was pretty cool.

23, Does 21 have a song that makes you cry? (Fragile Hollow)
Naaah, me no be a cryin' chick. :P Hey, I'm kidding, but no, never cried on any song anyway. Though, Aleksi Ahokas has a gift for melancholic songs, and I'd say that Nothing has a really sad feeling in it.

24, Does 27 have a song that makes you happy? (myGRAIN)
Mostly no-feeling music if you ask me. I tend to listen to that kinda stuff just to fill the silence when it gets me too much bored. They don't create any happiness, or sadness, or... well, nothing, even no pleasure, maybe. :D

25, Does 23 have a song that makes you smile? (Insomnium)
Pretty much the same as before, this band has nothing that shakes my heart, really. Sorry guys.

26, What's the last song you've listened to from 28? (Raintime)
Coming to think to it, I guess it was Tears Of Sorrow. I like that band. :)

27, Is there a song by 32 that you've listened to more than 30 times? (Scar Symmetry)
I would never have guessed, but Last.fm says I've been listening to Morphogenesis up to 53 times. :D Can't believe it though, I must have been sleeping.

28, What is a song from 50 that you've only listened to once? (Lapko)
There must be loads of. :P I'm not a die-hard fan of their stuff, or they wouldn't be n°50 anyway. :P

29, Is there a song you are sick of hearing by 24? (Norther)
Hahaha. Yeah, yeah, all of them actually. I got completly fed up of that band and their teenager oriented lyrics with are mostly like "fuck you all you bastards lol". Fuck them, actually.

30, What song got you into 40? (Rain Paint)
Hey! It was Final Peace. I remember that pretty well, since Aleksi sent me the song as a preview before the album release. Love you guy. <3 (Still not gay!)

31, What is your favorite single by 25? (Finntroll)
Did they release any? At least I don't have them. So none would be the word. :P

32, If 49 hated you, what would you do? (Genesis)
I'd hate them back! How dare they...?

33, What would you say if 42 or one of the members from 42 asked you out? (Slumber)
"Man, you're fucking gay!" (And I'm still NOT!)

34, Would you care if 41 had a boyfriend/girlfriend? (Stormlord)
Only one girlfriend for them 5? :o Oh my... poor girl, she must be complelty exhausted. :P

35, Who has the best voice in 46? (Alcest)
Well, I guess it's the only man in the band, since it's a solo project. :D Neige, your voice kills, though. <3 Proud to be french when I hear such music.

36, Do you think 26 is/are good looking? (Amorphis)
Ho, the singer's dreads are amazing at least. Saw them live in october, and I would have cut one of his dreads to bring it back home. :P Well, no, it would have suck anyway. :x

37, How many times have you listened to your favorite song by 36? (Negură Bunget)
Ţesarul De Lumini ? 106, according to Last.fm. This is a killer song.

38, How many CDs do you own of 30? (Joe Satriani)
0 ! Hey, you mad, buying CDs is for top 10, or maybe just top 5. :P

39, Is there a song from 38 that makes you mad? (Nicole)
I'm mad by nature, I don't know if there are any songs that drives me even more mad... but well. :O

40, Which member from 31 do you want to see go solo? If 31 is only one artist, what would you do if they joined a group? (Agalloch)
Would suck to see them split. Really.

41, What does your favorite song from 48 remind you of? (Haggard)
All'inizio E La Morte ? Of course, that I used if for a video I made in Guild Wars. :P Link to the video !

42, Did you hate 43 at first? (Noumena)
No, impossible. Got hooked to A Day to Depart at first listen, and it still has to be one of my fav songs.

43, Does your best friend also listen to 33? (Neptune)
No, he has sucky taste. :P Well, even if he would listen to that, he'd still have sucky taste. :D

44, Do you think your parents would like 37? (Sybreed)
Hey, mom at least loves the singer. <3 It's true he's killer!

45, Does 47 have a song that makes you want to dance? (Daylight Dies)
If someone can dance on Daylight dies, I want to see a video to believe it. :D Oh, you meant headbang? :D

46, Have you ever seen 34 in person? (Himinbjørg)
No, though I exchanged a couple mails with the leader, as he's french too. :)

47, Do you like 44's name? (Therion)
No, it sucks, cause it's a ripoff from a Celtic Frost song. How can such an amazing band have so few creativity when choosing its name?

48, Is there someone in 45 that you want to go out with? (Million dollar beggars)
Aleksi Ahokas. :D (Finally, I'm maybe gay... fuck!)

49, Do you know anyone that hates 39? (Lacrimas Profundere)
Yeah, Aleksi too, or at least for the singer, who he finds sucky. All in all, he's not that wrong, but their love-attitude is damn funny.

50, Have you ever danced to a song from 35? (Amon Amarth)
You mean headbang again? :O Of course, all of theirs, especially Twilight of the Thunder God!

  • Show Some Respect?

    Mar 12 2010, 23h15 por mentalinfest

Why is it that people think I should show respect for bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden? Ok sure, they're two of the most influential metal bands, but I'm pretty sure the bands I listen to now listened to more than just two bands? What about showing respect for bands like Camel who have great influence over my favourite band, Opeth.

Camel are a FANTASTIC band! One of the bands I grew up listening to, yet a lot of Opeth fans won't have a clue who they are. Listen to Never Let Go by Camel and TocarBenighted by Opeth, you'll spot the influence there.

I'm just so fed up of people bumming bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer... Come on guys, metal has progressed since these bands, and there are far more talented artists out there!

I love music where the bands show real musicianship. I like the element of suprise in my music. This is why I listen a lot of progressive rock and metal. I've grown up listening to bands like Yes, Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd, Focus, Camel, Gentle Giant, The Nice etc. I've got into Rush and Marillion at a later stage.

These bands have influenced a lot of the artists I listen to today. You can hear the prog elements of these artists in Opeth, Katatonia, Anathema, Riverside, Pure Reason Revolution, Bigelf even Dream Theater. These are the bands that have more influence on me, these are the bands I raise up as being the talented ones. None of their albums sound the same, they're constantly changing and evolving.

Then you have people like Nine Inch Nails who were highly influenced by Gary Numan, and in turn Gary Numan has been influenced by Nine Inch Nails. Gary Numan also influenced Fear Factory, and he is fantastic live!

And who were the bands who influenced the Metallica's and Iron Maiden's? Black Sabbath? Deep Purple? I've all the time in the world for Sabbath (Ozzy Osbourne period) and Deep Purple. TocarChild In Time, what an EPIC song!

Why do I mention these other bands? Because they are the ones who are forgotten when the arguement of "but such and such were influenced by...". These are the artists with talent, who have changed and progressed in time. They have as much influence as those 80s metal bands on the artists I listen to, they just don't get mentioned as often because people don't know who they are, and that is tragic.

So before anyone starts this arguement with me on how influential a band is, stop. I have heard it before, it doesn't make me want to show any more respect to a group of bands who continually spout out the same albums which I personally find dull and uninteresting. I will however look into the artists the bands I listen to are influenced by and will choose to listen to the ones with real musicianship that inspire me as well, and to those bands, I take my hat off and show my utmost respect for.

    49. Do you know anyone that hates #39 (Rolfe Kent)?
    I don't and I really don't want to.

    50. Have you ever danced to a song from #35 (Bon Iver)?
His music is not conventionally dancable... maybe for slow dances, but slow dancin' alone is no bueno.
  • The Watch Plays Genesis' Foxtrot Blue Show

Fr., 5. Mär. – The Watch

Doch The Watch erheben diesen Anspruch gar nicht.

Frei nach The Watch. Support The Progressive Rock!

  • Top 50 so far

    Mar 10 2010, 11h19 por GuitarBassDrums

Always thought that my charts on last fm would only represent my true listening tastes once my Top 50 had at least 100 plays each.

Once my Top 50 got to 10 each I thought it would be fun to explain how I got around to first listening to a particular artist, my favourite release or something like that.

Also I am on a bit of a blues and blues rock habit at the moment so B.B. King, Albert King and Albert Collins are on their way to take over my top 50 in a big way.

    Not a bad list
  • Some reflection of my top 50! (It's really just a questionaire though)

    Mar 5 2010, 17h33 por KongKurs

I guess I should try one of these questionnaire-thingies out for ones. And I apologize in advance for the rather messy English. I didn’t really feel for grammar studies today. Play count, as of 5th of marts2010, are in brackets!

    1. How did you get into 29?
Jack Johnson (1878): Browsed around on Last for something new, and stumbled over it rather by accident. Kinda cool though, and I have since acquired three albums.

    2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
Toad the Wet Sprocket (2119): Another of my browsing around finds. I can’t really remember, although I think it was either Fly From Heaven or Something’s always Wrong. I think it was the latter, though.

    3. What’s your favorite lyric by 33?
    Blur (1758): I guess it’s Parklife.

    4. What is your favorite album by 49?
Audioslave (1289): Well, they only made the two. So a quick browse over the covers made me conclude that it gotta be the first one. That’s just some sweet rock!

    5. How many albums by 13 do you own?
The Sounds (3284): All three of them: Living in America, Dying to Say This to You, and Crossing the Rubicon.

    6. What is your favorite song by 50?
Queen (1275): Hmm, that’s a toughy! I think I’m gonna go with The Show Must Go On. Although, there are so many to choose from.

    7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad?
Eliot Morris (1506): Maybe, The Infancy of Us.

    8. What is your favorite album by 15?
Bloc Party (2746): Definitely the first one. Came across it by chance, and just dug it right away. The album is btw called Silent Alarm.

    9. What is your favorite song by 5?
Kashmir (6808): Again many, and such a variety within the music of this band. I love Kiss my Goodbye and Ramparts for the super music, The Aftermath for the lyrics, and Melpomene for the sheer mellowness.

    10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy?
CKY (5520): CKY, an abbreviation for Camp Kill Yourself. Doesn’t sound too cheerful does it? This is not my favorite song by them, although it is still awesome: Flesh Into Gear. It just reminds of the very first times I hung out with my friends drinking and playing air guitar. Those where some happy times.

    11. What is your favorite album by 40?
Matt Nathanson (1483): That’s a live album called At the Point! Kinda cool.

    12. What is your favorite song by 10?
Malk De Koijn (4793): Danish Hip Hop band. Disbanded after just two albums, but regrouped last year, and threw some killer shows! Just epic! My favorite song gotta be Suppe, Steg og Is DJ.

    13. What is a good memory you have involving 30?
HIM (1802): Roskildefestival 2006, front stage, Friday at 2 am! Ville Valo was drunk, I was drunk, the whole damn concert tent were drunk. Just fantastic!

    14. What is your favorite song by 38?
Wet, Wet, Wet (1575): Gotta admit that they surprise me by appearing in top50. I must be listening to them more than I can remember. I think it’s Gypsy Girl. Don’t know why, it just reminds me something vague and indistinct.

    15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy?
Live (2327): As I recall on top of my head, LIVE’s music isn’t really happy music is it? So no, not really. Fantastic music though, lyrics wise, I’m not overly impressed.

    16. How many times have you seen 25 live?
D-A-D (2061): Kinda lucky that this question concerned a band that I have actually seen live. I have unfortunately not seen that many of my top50 artists live, hmm. But D-A-D, I have seen three times. One time at Roskilde, one time at Grøn Koncert, and one time at Open Air.

    17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23?
Jet (2114): I am almost positively sure that it was Are You Gonna be My Girl. Hmm, I haven’t listened to JET in a long time, kinda sad I think?

    18. What is your favorite album by 11?
Snow Patrol (3791): Another band that I haven’t really listened to in awhile. Out of the three studio albums, I think I’m gonna go with Eyes Open. The duet with Martha Wainwright is just absolutely fantastic. I guess that’s what tipped the scale.

    19. Who is a favorite member of 1?
Counting Crows (22044): Adam Duritz have sung me through some tough times. Thank you for that!

    20. Have you ever seen 14 live?
Mad Caddies (3237): Oh, I really, really wished that I had! Watching a Ska band like them live would be fucking fantastic. Fingers crossed though!

    21. What is a good memory involving 27?
Death Cab for Cutie (2000): Gotta be when saw them live at Roskildefestival 2006.Nobody would see them with me, so I wandered to the music area all alone, just in time to see a super awesome gig. I stood in the outer rim, pretty mellowed out on beer, just listening. As the gig ended, they finished off with Transatlantisism, and when they started chanting “I need you so much closer” at the end, every person in the crowd just tried to inch a little closer though the rest of the song. That moved me a little.

    22. What is your favorite song by 16?
The Killers (2666): No doubt there, Jenny was a Friend of Mine. Although the Abbey Road version of Sam’s Town is pretty neat as well.

    23. What is the first song you ever heard by 47?
Chess (1319): The musical Chess non the least. I would presume it to be The Story of Chess, as it is the first one on the record. But it might have been Nobody’s side as well. Wasn’t that a single ones? I can’t remember.

    24. What is your favorite album by 18?
Genesis (2581): I only have a three CD collection with them, so I actually don’t know. That will probably surprise me in the future.

    25. What is your favorite song by 21?
Bruce Springsteen (2126): I think its Thunder Road.

    26. What is the first song you ever heard by 26?
Norah Jones (2003): I think it was just after her major grammy sweep, some years back, that I heard it on the radio. It must have been Come Away With Me.

    27. What is your favorite album by 3?
Muse (7110): At first glance it gotta be a tie between Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. But since I, for some reason, have two copies of Absolution, it takes the honour.

    28. What is your favorite song by 2?
Garth Brooks (10152): Another difficult one. I think that I’m not gonna go with one of the regular studio albums, but credit his Double Live album. That’s just awesome.

    29. What was the first song you ever heard by 32?
The Kooks (1763): Seaside gotta be the one

    30. What is your favorite song by 8?
Better Than Ezra (5105): I stumbled over the band by accident, as I have done with quite a lot of the bands that I listen to. The song was Desperately Wanting, which is still one my all time favorite songs.

    31. How many times have you seen 17 live?
Steve Miller Band (2630): With a career from 1968 until now I still have the chance. But dear mister Miller is 69, so I doubt that they will visit this side of the pond any time soon, it is probably a band I will never witness live. It would be damn cool though.

    32. Is there a song by 44 that makes you happy?
VETO (1366): I must admit that I’ve never really paid too much attention to the lyrics, it’s hard to tell which, if any, that make me happy. Cannibal is pretty neat though, although the title, as it spells out, isn’t really that promising in the field of happiness.

    33. What is your favorite album by 12?
Katie Melua (3551): I think it is Piece by Piece. Not sure though, but it sprung to mind as the first of the three.

    34. What is the worst song by 45?
The Doors (1354): I really, really don’t know. I’m not that well versed within the poorer songs of The Doors, so I think I’m gonna pass this one.

    35. What was the first song you ever heard by 34?
CAKE (1702): Bought the Comfort Eagle CD just out of curiosity, and the first number on that CD is Opera Singer. So, I’m going with that one.

    36. What is your favorite album by 48?
Arctic Monkeycc (1290): Hmm, quite difficult. I liked the first album in the beginning, then the second album overthrew that. Now I’m balancing on the verge of indecisiveness, which, I short, mean that I can’t make up my mind.

    37. How many times have you seen 42 live?
Sublime (1410): Uh, an easy one. Never!

    38. What is your favorite song by 36?
The Kissaway Trail (1623): A small Danish band, which have made a smaller breakthrough in Denmark and the UK. I haven’t really listened to the singles of their upcoming release, so I’m going with Soul Assasins from their first release.

    39. What was the first song you ever heard by 28?
Panic! At the Disco (1963): Listened really intensely to their CD, just before they had their breakthough. Since then I haven’t really listened to them. I think that the first song was There’s a Good Reason These Tables are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought of it Yet.

    40. What is your favorite album by 7?
Franz Ferdinand (5365): Gotta be the self-titled first one. That one’s just awesome.

    41. Is there a song by 31 that makes you happy?
Mando Diao (1784): I think it will be Ode to Ochrasy. That’s just a fine little song about escaping into your own little utopia.

    42. What is your favorite album by 41?
Hard-Fi (1447): I know that they have released two albums, but I have only listened to the first one. So without further ado, Stars of CCTV.

    43. What is your favorite song by 24?
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy (2093): Danish cult band, which have just reformed four months ago, awesome. Favorite number will probably be Love me a Little.

    44. What is a good memory you have involving 46?
Jonathan Larson (1343): Poor Jonathan Larson died of an undiagnosed aortic dissection (aortic aneurysm) back in ’96. So sad. I have only listened to RENT, which is damn good musical. The whole story that evolve around RENT, is just heartbreaking and beautiful, and really make you think about life, death, sexuality, deceases, and friendship. It may not sound that great, but it is a great way of forcing yourself to reflect on these issues so you can battle of all these damn prejudices.

    45. What is your favorite song by 35?
Goo Goo Dolls (1700): Iris is super sweet, and never goes out of style.

    46. Is there a song by 9 that makes you happy?
Will Hoge (5013): Sex, Lies, and Money. It may not sound like happy times, but it just make me think about not being superficial, and live life to the fullest. Something that I need to be better ad!

    47. What is your favorite album by 4?
Dave Matthews Band (6879): Weekend on the Rocks, the full 6 CD live box. That is just sweet listening.

    48. Who is a favorite member of 37?
Mew (1606): I really dunno. I can only name the lead singer on top of my mind, and he’s kinda weird, so I’m gonna pass this one.

    49. What is the first song you ever heard by 43?
The Raveonettes (1370): I think it was Love in a Trashcan. A pretty nice tune, actually.

    50. How many albums do you own by 20?
Alison Krauss & Union Station (2223): A quick count says 3 plus one live DVD.

    Cheers

My dad has always loved Jamiroquai, so it's through him :) Actually I used to hate it because my mum said it wasn't any good xD But my dad kept playing it in the car, and I was all, "Huh... well TocarDestitute Illusions is pretty good..." None, Haikara are Chrissi's band to collect :)

    6. What is your favorite song by 50? Amorphis

    12. What is your favorite song by 10? Finntroll

    13. What is a good memory you have involving 30? Evanescence
Being constantly asked to play Ev songs on the piano and sing along before choir practice at school xDD

    14. What is your favorite song by 38? Metallica
Low Man's Lyric. Then The Unforgiven II.

    15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy? 北出菜奈 (Nana Kitade)
Uumm... well at the moment a lot of her "happy" songs are irritating me slightly, but I'll go with Fake :) I don't listen to it much myself but every time I overhear my sister listening to it, it puts a smile on my face ^__^

    16. Is there a song by 25 that makes you sad? Machinae Supremacy
A very short answer this time: No xD

    17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23? Seether
What else but TocarBroken, featuring Amy Lee? ;)

    18. What's your favorite lyric by 11? John Williams
I was about to say "ABSGOGOEGI DON'T PICK SOUNDTRACK ARTISTS FOR THESE KIND OF QUESTIONS" but then I remembered - TocarDouble Trouble! :D So OF COURSE it is Something wicked this way comes!! :D

    19. Who is a favorite member of 1? Sonata Arctica
You'd think this might be an easy question for me to answer, but it's not xD
If we're talking favourite band member well then yes, it's easily Tony Kakko. He is, after all, the voice, the brains, the composition, the lyrics, the charisma, the epicentre. Add to that his awesome personality and you can't really choose anyone else :P
BUT if we're talking favourite person who just happens to be in the band... well in that case, I absolutely cannot choose between Tony and Henkka Klingenberg. I really can't. I love them both equally, they are so damn awesome and entertaining and just 100% great guys :)

    20. Is there a song by 14 that makes you happy? Dark Moor
There are so many! :D Mostly because they're cheesy xD Probably one of the best is Quest For The Eternal Flame xD If you can keep yourself from facepalming long enough, you WILL find a smile on your face ;)

    21. What is a good memory involving 27? Kate Bush
Umm... Well I associate TocarMoments of Pleasure with my late grandfather, I'm not sure if that counts? He meets us at the lift, like Douglas Fairbanks! waving his walking stick... but he isn't well at all...

... the buildings... of New York... look just like mountains through the snow!

Thank you, Kate. Now may I have my heart back? ^__^

    22. What is your favorite song by 16? Nicholas Hooper
Has to be Journey to the cave ^w^ That'd be my intro music if I ever got famous enough to need such a thing xD Other favourites are Fireworks, Malfoy's Mission, When Ginny Kissed Harry and Harry & Hermione.

    23. What is the first song you ever heard by 47? blink-182
The very first was probably TocarFeeling This, but the first I really paid attention to was TocarHere's Your Letter :)

    24. What is your favorite album by 18? In Flames
Uhh... well I like CC and ASOP pretty much the same but I'll go with Come Clarity (almost wrote Century Child, wrong CC xD)

Suffer Our Pleasures. How on earth did they manage to produce such a flawless work? D: It's an amazing album, no way Gravity of Light is gonna beat it, haha xD

    28. What is you favorite song by 2? Nightwish
A surprisingly tough question .___. I still think that the best song they've ever made is The Poet and the Pendulum, so I guess that still works out as my favourite. But I almost prefer listening to songs such as FantasMic, Crownless, Over The Hills And Far Away... the more fun songs, basically :3

    29. What was the first song you ever heard by 32? Brother Firetribe
I heard a clip of TocarHeart Full Of Fire on a Nightwish video but the first song I listened to all the way through was TocarOne Single Breath, I think.

    30. What is your favorite song by 8? Kamelot
lol, we've just been discussing this on the Kamelot shoutbox :P My favourite is TocarMemento Mori because it's just *flawless*, but I also love TocarCenter of the Universe, TocarSoul Society and TocarWhen the Lights Are Down.

    31. How many times have you seen 17 live? Tarja
None, I wasn't really interested last time around. Maybe in the future though :)

    32. Is there a song by 44 that makes you happy? Circa Survive
In the Morning and Amazing, if listened too whilst moshing frantically xD

    33. How did you get into 12? Elias Viljanen
Well, first of all Elias is the current guitarist of Sonata Arctica ;) I listened to Kiss of Rain because Tony sang on it, and yeah, I thought it was okay. A few months later I listened to it again and OH MY GOD, it became pretty much my favourite song of all time!! It always makes me happy to hear it and it's endlessly repeatable, hence why it's my most played track overall :) And of course, it was so good I just had to check out the rest of the Fire-Hearted album - I was not disappointed ;)

    34. What is the worst song by 45? Korpiklaani
Out of the few I know, TocarWooden Pints I guess.

Never *live*live, but I have seen one of their live shows on TV.

    38. What is you favorite song by 36? Coheed and Cambria
Hmm... Neverender, closely followed by 33, I think. Oh, and Shameless, Camouflage and Casseopoeia (or however the damn thing is spelt) kick major ass! >w<\m/

    39. What was the first song you ever heard by 28? ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
What else than 遥か彼方 (Haruka Kanata)? *dies of shame* I DON'T EVEN LIKE NARUTO ANYMORE AAAAAAARGHHH

    40. What is you favorite album by 7? Within Temptation
    Mother Earth, I suppose.

    41. Is there a song by 31 that makes you happy? Green Day
Of course! That's like their reason for existing!! TocarBurnout, Castaway, Tocar1,000 Hours...

    42. What is your favorite album by 41? Northern Kings
Well I only have one so far, and I only just got it but it's fucking brilliant! Rethroned is the album in question ;D

    43. What is your favorite song by 24? Michael Jackson
I think, TocarWill You Be There. There are a whole lot of really excellent tracks in his discography, but since his death that song took on a whole special meaning for me. they told me, a man should be faithful, and walk when not able, and fight to the end but I'm only human!

    44. What is a good memory you have involving 46? Indica
Insisting on singing the Finnish lyrics when they betrayed their fine nation by singing in English at their gig? :3
