John Zorn (nascido em 2 de setembro de 1953 em New York City) é um compositor e músico vanguardista americano, arranjador, produtor musical, saxofonista e multi-instrumentista. A produção de Zorn é prolífera com centenas de créditos em álbuns como intérprete, compositor ou produtor.     "Does he has any "Best of..." albums to start with?" No. It would be a very mixed bag if he did though... Depends what you're after. If you want crazy noisy stuff try 'Naked City', 'The Crucible' or either of the first Painkiller albums, if you want some nice straight up jazz try 'Alhambra Love Songs', if you want something more exotic try something like 'The Concealed' or 'The Circle Maker'. If you want some weird shit then maybe try Cobra - my personal favourite is 'Cobra: Tokyo Operations '94'. I'm not too familiar with his classical stuff, but maybe try 'Angelus Novus' if you want a taste of that kind of stuff.
