Meteora é o segundo álbum de estúdio da banda Linkin Park, lançado em 25 de Março de 2003. Na sequência de seu álbum remix Reanimation que incluiu remixes do seu álbum de estréia Hybrid Theory. A música em Meteora representa mudanças significativas desde o lançamento de Hybrid Theory. É formado por influências mais significativas do rapcore (“Lying From You”, “Hit the Floor”, “Faint”, “Figure.09”, “Nobody’s Listening”). Sua música instrumental “Session”, foi nomeada para um Grammy Award de Melhor Performance Rock Instrumental em 2003.

É o álbum mais bem sucedido na história do Modern Rock Tracks, um gráfico que se especializa em canções de rádio do gênero rock alternativo. “Numb” foi a canção do ano segundo o gráfico.

Todas as canções foram produzidas pela banda, que se inspirou na cidade grega Meteora. O álbum já vendeu 5,5 milhões de cópias nos Estados Unidos e mais de 15 milhões no mundo inteiro, até à data.

    @joeyjoefro, that's funny since I liked LP back in their Xero days. i knew LP back in 2000, and I fucking love ATS. in fact, i think it's their best work. while I love some of the memories I had with HT and Meteora, and I still think they're great albums, the lyricism in comparison to their new stuff is VERY childish. also, if you're bringing up sales, while HT and Meteora sold the most, you have to take into account the vastly changing music scene. all of LP's albums were #1, yet they are decreasing in sales so does this mean a lack of good content or simply a change in the way the music scenes operating (with downloads of singles and illegal downloading becoming more popular than buying full albums).
