Miseration é uma banda sueca de death metal formada em 2006, e com assinatura Lifeforce. A banda primeiramente lida com temas de lutas internas e conflitos religiosos. A banda é uma colecção de colaborações como por exemplo Jani Stefanovic e o vocalista ex-Scar Symmetry Christi Älvestam.O Primeiro álbum de Miserations “Your Demons - Their Angels” foi lançado a 20/09/2008.

    The latest album reminds me of Soreption. The sound is very similar, check out Tomb of Tephra for example. Diggin' Stepping Stone Agenda.

    Tragedy > YDTA > Mirroring Shadow. Love all three but Tragedy is just too brutal for me not to love.

    Their first album is definitely melodic. The next is a transition between the two death and melodic death, and the newest is clearly death metal with some outside influences.

    I really like the new album, It feels like they are trying to distance themselves from melodic death metal more, and head more in the direction of Tech Death. I'd say the Mirroring Shadow is their best still, but I like Tragedy Has Spoken.

    Prod on the album is abhorrent, seriously.. Album is okay, just had my first listen through. The Mirroring Shadow destroys the new stuff though.

    Tragedy Has Spoken is kinda ok. The Mirroring Shadow is simply superior because it has more memorable songs imo.
