Shōji Meguro, 目黒将司.

Shōji Meguro (目黒 将司, 04/06/71) é um compositor japones de músicas para videogame e diretor, que se juntou a Atlus em 1996 e compos a trilha sonora de muitos jogos deles, a maioria da série Megami Tensei.

Apesar de seu trabalho ter uma maioria de músicas do gênero rock, Meguro também já compos músicas orquestrais, eletronica, jazz, rap, r&b e hip hop em suas sountracks. Meguro cita T-Square, Casiopea, Ludwig van Beethoven e Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky como suas influências musicais.

    The best part of the soundtracks is how each game has its own sound. Catherine is low to up-tempo jazz, P3 has a hip-hop vibe, P4's pop and r&b sound, DDS 1&2 with synthetics and electronica, and Nocturne with experimental rock... Just amazing. So disappointed he's not doing SMT IV.

    Meguro made very few songs for P4A (Best Friends, The Junes Hero, The Wandering Wolf, Spirited Girl and Shadows of the Labyrinth) and none of the remixes were made by him

    @down To each his own. But I think it will take quite some time for him to have more variety than Nobuo. (maybe when he manages to learn how to make better use of strings that do not come from a guitar or a bass)
