Biografia

Okay, I understand, I was just giving my opinion.

That just can't be done with how last.fm works. Unless they change their system where artists of the same name are separated by genre, or location... all of which using information the community gives.

Yes, I agree both are close in plays. Just in my opinion I think both artists deserve their own pages. The reasoning I still scrobble plays is so that I can get recommendations for more bands to listen to. However, since both Tank's are merged I'm getting more recommendations for R&B artists, than heavy metal, that's really the only thing that concerns me, not so much the photo.

Hey now...Metal Tank's in my top artists. Granted, I don't use last.fm much anymore and I don't scrobble anymore. I don't care about the picture. But yes exactly, both the Tanks are quite even in plays and top picture occurrence.

NWOBHM Tank is one of the top bands I listen to, I at least think they shouldn't merge the two artists together. NWOBHM fans want our Tank, and R&B fans want theirs.

Real Tea.... I just went through all of you guys profiles and looked at how many times you've played Tank, and none of you (with the exception of Mr Mummificator) have played (him or the band) enough to warrant y'all still arguing over pictures. Let it go. Pick the picture you like and let it go. Some days the band is going to be the default images, and some days the R&B artist is going to take the lead. It's not like Tank pops up enough times in your charts or you to truly give a damn.

3 songs aint much bro. We have just as much of a place here as you do. Because as I said, if you guys supported your artist the way we do(listening to whole albums), we would be even. Or alternatively, if we only listened to a few Tank songs at a time and it's always 1 of 3 songs like you guys(*most of you guys), we would also be even. I'm not here to argue about the top pick, I don't care about that. I just wanted to share the idea that we are pretty close in song plays, if you think about it.

So yes jheanlimma, your Tank has the most listened to 3 songs. But he doesn't have the most listened to album. I mean, yeah, you can point to the 3 R&B Tank albums in Top Albums. But if you only saw the first 20 minutes of a movie, you didn't really see that movie. Just like those albums weren't really listened to.

You know what it means when an artist's top plays are inconsistent like this? It means that artists' fans are have more of a casual interest. Look at the plays...the R&B Tank only has 3 songs above the Metal one. 3 measly songs. It's like you guys only listen from some Top40 playlist of what someone else decided are good songs. We listen to whole albums by the artists we support and decide for ourselves. If you guys would actually listen to your Tank's albums instead of one song at a time, we'd be more even. You'd figure an average album has 10 songs. If you divide that 300 from Dance With Me by 10, you get 30. And the 2 80s from the other 2 top songs, you'd have 8. Then we'd see more R&B Tank songs spread out in the plays and you'd be where we are. About 30 plays per song.

Wtf? "Real Tank" Have you ever seen a real tank? :D :D :D It is a stupid discussion. The NWOBHM Tank is by far older and got the name first, but this R'nB' guy seems to be more popular/'relevant' on lastfm. So the point which tank deserves more to be the titel pic depends entirely on your personal preferences. OR you people could try a more thoughtout method and put a combined picture up. That worked on other shared bandpages.
