leumaspipiluv For all you SCANDAL FANS out there, there's an upcoming J-Pop Concert on the 1st of December 2012 at the KL Live - Concert Hall. The Concert is in line with the 30th Anniversary of Look East Policy between Japan & Malaysia which is part of a yearlong celebration being held and the concert showcases Japan’s current Top Female All Girl Band – “SCANDAL” in their SCANDAL SPECIAL LIVE IN MALAYSIA 2012 CONCERT. The concert which starts off at 8.00pm will also feature one local opening act under the same music label. This is first time, the artiste known as SCANDAL will be performing in Malaysia and it will be a great opportunity for all their Malaysian Fans to catch them performing LIVE here. The Concert will be part of their promotions tour for the Album “Queens are trumps - Kirifuda wa Queen” which will be launched by SONY Music Malaysia on the 1st week of November 2012. KOKIA seems to be a good choice indeed. As for romantic music such as trip-hop, new age and slower pop, I recommend Ferri, Caroline, Nahoko Kakiage, Jack or Jive (Chako Hattori) and Olivia. They're all amazing, though most of them also sound pretty melancholic. You may also like Cocco, Yuko Ishibashi, Eri Sugai, Hitomi Kuroishi and Rurutia.

aibom "Gotta love the fans of this who bash American pop." I know that was sarcasm, but you have to understand part of why that happens. A lot of people who do this, do this because they live in the United States of America where American pop is shoved down their throats by every corporate and advertising outlet on a daily basis. Also, Jpop tends to offer them a slightly different style of pop than what they are sick of being forced to listen to out and about in their local towns or cities. Also, American pop and any pop under the RIAA pretty much dominate the entire world media, that's way too much exposure than is particularly healthy. While Jpop is a bit on the underloved side. Really, any pop that isn't in English is on the underloved side. People can call people who like Jpop better than American pop weeaboos or whatever other term all they like, but the frustration in wanting something different because you're constantly shoved the same down your throat is understandable.
