Post-hardcore

Post-Hardcore (pós-hardcore), Como o nome pode sugerir, é derivado do hardcore. As primeiras aparições do gênero foram em Washington, D.C., após a metade dos anos 80 (veja a era de lançamentos da Dischord Records, por exemplo), apesar de não ser bem conhecido até o começo dos anos 90. Post-Hardcore, como um gênero musical, é marcado pelos seus ritmos precisos e bases de guitarra altas acompanhadas por performances vocais que são freqüentemente cantadas sussurradas ou gritadas. These bands come way closer to the older emo rather than the shit of today like Dashboard Confessional and Jimmy Eat World, and I've got no problem with the classic emo music, but what it has turned into, is absolute garbage. If I was in a post-hardcore band, I wouldn't want to admit my music's emo either, considering all the crap that's called emo nowadays, basically: Post-Hardocre = Classic Emo/Hardcore Punk, O.K.? We done with this argument about emo and non-emo and post-hardcore music now? (Probably not, because everyone on the internet is either stubborn or butthurt :/...)
