This is my top 365 tracks (as of January 3rd 2015, according to Last.FM charts). That means a song per day.
Day 46, (shared) 313. position: Metallica - Cyanide (from the album Death Magnetic)

If not counting the fact that it was mixed/mastered quite poorly, Death Magnetic was defenitely a step to the right direction for Metallica. Cyanide is a nice little tune which suits well in live sets.
Day 47, (shared) 313. position: KoRn - Make Me Bad (from the album Issues)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujEph5vFwmc
KoRn had evolved pretty naturally and slightly throughout their career at this point, from KoRn to Follow The Leader. Issues was even bigger step towards more melodic and dark, disturbed sound. Issues and Untouchables proved that Jonathan Davis can actually sing and that KoRn wasn't just a one trick pony.
Day 48, (shared) 313. position: Metallica - All Nightmare Long (from the album Death Magnetic)

Another one from Death Magnetic. This one is more complex with it's many parts and ripping riffs. One of my faves.
Day 49, (shared) 313. position: Metallica - Wherever I May Roam (from the album Metallica)

Classic. I don't think there's anything left to be said about this one. Next one.
Day 50, (shared) 313. position: Mokoma - Kristuksen ruumis ja pedon pää (from the album Sydänjuuret)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJFkfe3SCv0
After the not-that-great and somewhat sporadic Luihin ja ytimiin, Mokoma pulled themselves together and made one of their greatest albums Sydänjuuret. Songs were fresh, the album sounded great and it was solid as a whole.
Kristuksen ruumis ja pedon pää is one of the albums breathers among the thrashing and brutal songs.
Day 51, (shared) 313. position: Metallica - The Four Horsemen (from the album Kill 'em All)

One more 'tallica for the road. Another classic from their debut album. You can't get much more metal than this!
