This is my top 365 tracks (as of January 3rd 2015, according to Last.FM charts). That means a song per day.
Ahem, I really should stop being so lazy and write these journals more often. So now we have some catching up to do!
Day 54, (shared) 297. position: Irina - Vihamiehet (from the album Älä riko kaavaa)

Nice little ballad. Irina's voice divides opinions, you either love or hate it. I obviously love it, though it did took some time.
Day 55, (shared) 297. position: Mastodon - All the Heavy Lifting (from the album The Hunter)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpoNSXlaHDk
Hands down the greatest metal band of this millenium.
Day 56, (shared) 297. position: CMX - Uusi ihmiskunta (from the album Pedot)

This video is simple, but it works pretty well. And it has some cameo appearances of other famous Finnish rock stars.
Day 57, (shared) 297. position: KoRn - Love and Meth (from the album The Paradigm Shift)

When guitarist Head quit KoRn, they were pretty lost. They did some awesome songs, but their albums weren't that great as a whole. They also did some experimenting and the end resulting was not always that great. And on KoRn III: Remember Who You Are -album they tried to "get back to their roots" but it still wasn't that KoRn which I fell in love with.
But then it happened: Head rejoined the band and they released The Paradigm Shift. And this was the first song I heard from it. HOLY SH*T! Now that's more like it!
Day 58, (shared) 297. position: Metallica - Motorbreath (from the album Kill 'em All)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWKJmbmOOf4
Ah, the voice of young James Hetfield! Speed metal at it's finest and purest form.
Day 59, (shared) 297. position: Kelly Clarkson - Sober (from the album My December)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8Sx9PITQco
Beautiful song. Simple as that.
Day 60, (shared) 297. position: Irina - Kuolee hiljaa (from the album Vahva)

I'm not a big Apulanta-fan, but their singer Toni Wirtanen has written great songs for Irina. And his voice also fits this song nicely and goes along with Irina's quite well.
