Cool! I know very little David Bowie, I've mostly only heard the 'Heroes' album and 'the Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust'. I LOVED the Ziggy Stardust album, whereas the Heroes album has the Heroes song which is like the greatest song ever. Aside from that, I know nothing.

I can't believe I hadn't told you about that concert yet! I also went to a relief effort concert that featured the Antlers, Grizzly Bear, Cults, and Sleigh Bells. That one was good too, but I really LOVED Japandroids.

haha, I made that list like two weeks ago. I wanted to get it done before all the sites would do their lists, to try and make it as mine as possible without influences. The Japandroids concert was so fucking great. SO. FUCKING. GREAT. It was a true "rock" show. Loud guitars, awesome drums, nice lights, the dude can't sing for his fucking life, shredding, crowd was so totally into it (on a Wednesday no less), some stage diving, lots of singing all of us together; it just feels so pure. Pure rock. No bullshit.
