    Seeing as you were mentioning the Residents before, figured I should tell you about their latest album Mush-Room. It's the typical Res zaninous, but they've injected an enormous psychedelic influence into this one. Truly highly recommended for a fellow psychedelic mind traveler. Cheers!

    Ah, glad to hear it! I've taken a lot of inspiration from looking at your plays as well. In fact, I think seeing the Grateful Dead repeatedly on your charts was what pushed me into exploring them a while back. And I've never regretted that decision :D

I wish one day Phish will have an extensive European tour and come to Croatia so I get a proper chance to see them live. Have you attended any of their shows lately?

The Grateful Dead - Europe 1972 Tour

I got on a real jones for some serious jam Dead, so I figured 72 or 73. But when I spotted those Paris shows, I knew that this infamous tour was just the ticket! And the new mixes are superb.



I am a music fanatic from way back (early 70's). I've seen over 1500 concerts. I travelled around following the Grateful Dead and Frank Zappa for years. I love all things improvisational.

I like an awfully lot of different kinds of music including (but not limited to) Jam, Space, Psychedelic, Stoner, Desert, Progressive, Rock, Experimental, Fusion, PsyTrance, PsyGoa, Alt-Country, Outlaw, Pop (American, French, Russian, Belgian, Spanish, Aussie, JPop, etc), Trance, Glam, Chanson, Alternative, Trip Hop, Dream Pop, Shoegaze, Post Punk, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Electrobossa, Ye-Ye, MPB & Classical. Language is really not an issue for me... it's just another instrument. All I ask out of music is that:

a) It's played really well

and

b) It's unique and interesting (which means not boring and repetitive, or a bad copy of somebody else's style).

I also really like vocals to be sung... not screamed nor rhymed (rapped), and I'm not a big fan of bands that sample other people's work.

I probably find 10-20 new bands a week that I really like... mostly thanks to this web site and all of my friends. Thank you!



I have over 60,000 plays from 5000+ artists... that's only about 12 plays per artist! Life's too short to listen to the same stuff all the time. My top play bands represent less than 5% of my plays. There's a whole world of interesting music out there... experiment people!
