BURGER Records proudly presents a heaping 27-track cassette release of The Prefab Messiahs' newly remastered early-80s anthology Devolver. It contains both of their Bobb Trimble-produced studio recordings ("The 16th Track" and "Desperately Happy"), as well as live tracks, radio broadcasts, and living-room/basement shenanigans.

Originally from the "Wormtown" (Worcester MA) punk/arts scene, the band was seemingly ahead of its time with a raucously odd mix of post-punk garage-pop psych – back before terms like "indie", "alternative", or "lo-fi" were even in popular usage.
