Ladies and Gentlemen... is the Spiritualized record to get. It's pretty great from the very start. I love Pure Phase, but it took awhile to sink in. The Come bootleg will still be there whenever you want it. I'm just happy to see that other people like them. Any bands I should check out? Anything interesting in Norway? I lived in Hamburg for several years, but I can't think of any Norwegian bands that I heard about.

Why is is that you log off the minute I'm saying something nice? You damn Norwegian! I was gonna say "Good night to you sir. May you not sleep alone anymore.". See? It doesn't have the same feel to it when you read it 253876897 hours later. You ruined it! I shall find a fitting way to punish you for this. Good thing I'm very creative when it comes to torture. :>

I would watch that film. :) I like claustrophobic films. I've watched maybe a dozen involving elevators. They were all disappointments. I hope you'll bring a new breath of air in what I like to call elevator cinema. :3

Elevators! Yes! I used to be scared shitless of them. I got... what do you call it? I was in an elevator once and it stopped. I was alone. I remembered that story of two siblings in some foreign country dying of dehydration. I thought I was going to die. Ahahah. I was only in for half an hour. Then they fixed it.

What you said about curtains reminded me of something. When I was around five, we used to live in this old house complete with wooden window frames. I used to hear voices coming from the living room curtains. They'd say stuff like "We can see you. You can't run away." It scared the living shit out of me. Then, mum -finally- bought a piano and put it in the living room. After that, any time I heard voices I would press the keys really hard. Ahahahah. I was such a disturbed child. There was a time when, every night for one whole week, I had the same nightmare. Care to guess the leading male? =) Anyway. Yeah. Curtains. They're freaky.

saw your question on epigee's shoutbox ....try 2005 tag radio ...or if you have a media player try typing 2005 into it and listen to whatever comes up in your music collection....it should sort it according to 2005 release date :) hope this helps

Yeah most of the groups are dead, or are full of kids that don't yet know their roots, or care really it seems. Well, glad to meet you, talk to you later probably.

You are correct - Music licensing for film is quite complex. That is what I do. A soundtrack for a major motion picture, can net the music artist $100,000.00 USD, plus a royalty clause, just for one example ;-) The issue with Lastfm, is they are tired of explaining the complex features of the radios, to the labels, advertisers and performance rights groups, etc. By removing the three radios on Nov 17th, the sales dept. has an easier job ironing out details, as well as licensing music. ASCAP, BMI, PRS and SESAC are four giant performance rights groups, that Lastfm must answer to. These groups will provide a blanket license for the 12 million tracks that are on Lastfm and are protected by them. However, those four only cover USA, Canada and U.K. Lastfm are a global music site, unlike the other music sites you have mentioned in my journal ;-)

Hyggelig at du liker musikken!
