Out Of My Mind
The EP starts strong right away. With Out of my Mind, Cavashawn has a catchy, danceable pop/rock tune that has plenty of radio potential and is alternative enough to capture attention from more rock-oriented minds. No way you're gonna be able to stand still on this one.
Madison
The highly entertaining Madison just continues to impress. With a musical arrangement that rivals contemporaries like Chad Perrone and Hotspur, and a good feel for radio potential, this is another song waiting to be picked up.
Thrill
The alt-rocker Thrill might be the best on this foursome. Vocally and musically it has a very groovy sound that keeps on being driven forward. The song has great rhythm and Cavashawn impresses all over, but especially in energy and passion.
Just Because
On Just Because the pace is taken down a little and you can hear the strength of Cavashawn's vocals. The rich sound is something that would make for a mega radio hit if this was already an established act. For Cavashawn, it might just be a breakthrough song.
With 4 songs that could all go on the radio in a heartbeat, this debut EP is an impressive one. Cavashawn shows he has the talent, the passion and the insight to hit big. Now if only the labels are paying attention, because a new big act just stood up.
