Best Artist: Sufjan Stevens
I listened to "The Dress Looks Nice on You" way too often, without paying much attention to any of Sufjan's other stuff. That is, until October. Oh, wow. Sufjan has totally blown me away with "Chicago," "Casimir Pulaski Day," "That Was the Worst Christmas Ever!" and "Come on! Feel the Illinoise!"

I knew I liked "You Might Think," so I bought the album–and proceeded to fall in love with every single track.

Runners Up: Iron and Wine: Our Endless Numbered Days
I bought this album at a friend's recommendation, not really expecting much. Boy, was I surprised.
