Hey man, I've only listened to it once, but I didn't think it was as good as their other stuff. I still need to get that membership thing for the venue for e!e! and lucky you, seeing them twice! Are you going to see Death Grips on the 6th?

Oh sorry forgot to respond! Yeah it definitely is something. Electric aspects of tms with the flow of xm, and this new dark twist that i'm loving.

Thanks man. And yes holy shit. The only album I really liked from theirs was The Moon is Down. Their second one wasn't terrible but their third one sounded like it belonged on your average christian rock station. Gross. Now that Carraba is back on vocals, things could get interesting. I don't expect it to have the same feel as The Moon is Down (it will most likely be more poppy) but it shouldn't be bad.

Sadly not. Edge of the New Forest and it's a good 45 minute drive to get to the nearest place where gigs usually take place, and even then it's mostly shitty pop-punk. Was going to see baroness the other day but they had an accident and had to cancel (everyone was ok!). I imagine it's proabably a bit better than this where you live?

Probably reading again next year, still in college so not much cash from working means that it's probably the only one i'll be able to go to, hah

Very lucky! I suppose you might have got no sleep anyway, and i'm assuming this was paid work too?

Yes thanks, did you actually participate in any festivals this year or were you just security hah?

I can easily see what you mean haha! Saw bands like Mastodon, Crystal Castles, ATDI, Trash Talk etc etc, mostly went for the experience, my first festival

I'm also off to Mexico in 11 weeks haha! I went to Spain, in one of my mates parents villas, it wasn't really near anything so we just drank every night

Pop punk, eh. Can you maybe recommend me some? Tresor is like God's cum in a cookie.

Nope, live out in the country. Nearest city is Bergen, ~3 hours drive away, and even then there aren't that many gigs there (at least, not acts I want to see). Considering going back to Britain to study though, so hopefully there'll be more opportunities for concerts then. Kinda feel the need to get away a bit, since most of the people from my town go to Bergen to study and I feel you end up stuck in a rut. How's Manchester? My dad went to uni there, seems like it might be good

Yeah. A lot of the time mu just sort of prompts me to check out stuff I already know of. Tegan and Sara for example, I'd already heard of, DFA, Fugazi and HANL as well. Stuff like Battles I found there, but they're not really mucore. Death Grips and all the emo and skramz are st8 outta mu though

I actually prefer their more poppy/odd stuff from In Reverie onwards, their earlier material comes across as less distinctive to me. I can see why many people prefer it though, and Through Being Cool is most definitely the shit.

Feel like electronic music and anything metal almost go hand in hand, music that doesn't utilize electronic music's ability to create soundscapes, is missing out. That party sounds badass, live till 5am? Think i'd be dazed after that hahah.

Wow, transitioning from post-rock to post-hardcore, that's a fairly extreme change, or maybe not as extreme if it there was an emo influence in the band from the start, but nonetheless. Not many live bands I like, though Sweden is getting two of my favorites over there, The Safety Fire and Periphery playing live at the same place. Pretty pumped! How about you?

Haha yeah, or even ripping cd's. Way too lazy to have 'everything' in flac. Yeah Immanu El is cool, really relaxing, still love cosmonaut.

Sweet, yeah didn't really think before recommending, it's easy to forget life without Last.fm.

Hello there, trained muay thai for a year (didn't get happiness from it though) see you tried out Periphery, their newest album is horrid. Check out their debut, it's much better, you might like it. Cheers from a shitty country.
