That is a nice coincidence, mine coincides with the end of exams every year, which is always a great time to celebrate a birthday :p

That song was great, know what you mean by the solo! I'll give Aja and Countdown to Ecstasy a listen later on. And going by what the gentleman below said: Happy Birthday!

I've been wanting to give Steely Dan a listen recently. Where do you recommend I should start?

Thank you very much, I love it when someone has an appraisal/objective view of my music and you're honest, kind and supportive...I will send something every now and then without driving you insane of course :)

Damnit. My Last.fm scrobbler is not functioning. FAQ says I might have to scrap the thing and re-install. Hopefully a reboot will do the trick...

Oh and I know this may sound kinda silly, but how is your 'recently listened tracks' section filled with the same songs from the same album consecutively while mine is just at random. Is there anyway you can listen to whole albums in one go? Thanks :)

Thanks! No problem regarding the friend request. Likewise, you too have some cool stuff in your library. Great to see many people have a similar taste in music as I do, albeit online. I just wish that some of my friends in real life listen to more of the stuff I do :)

Odd. Last.fm doesn't say I'm listening to anything, although it registers that I'm lovin' tracks. Hum. Well, for the record, I'm into Siouxsie's Juju right now.

I wanna share this with you...play it and let me know what you think if you like it. http://www.last.fm/music/Str8face/Remixes%252C%2BRe-issues%2B%2526%2BRe-ups/Low+Down+Feat.+Grymey+D+%28B-Boy+Re-up%29

YES! As soon as I introduce myself, people ask straight away where I'm from. And no one knows where Georgia is. They always know Florida, but never Georgia. I guess there are no hit shows set in my home state. : /

Don't people get all excited by your accent? British people fucking cream over an accent that isn't similar to their home country's. I say this as a Welsh lad living in England.

Oh I'm there for PiL without a doubt. I'm going with my parents though which is a bit crap (I have cool parents who like Japanese noise and what not) but I'm looking forward. I know a few of my friends who are studying at Swansea, what are you studying?

I'm gonna send you a message so everyone doesn't find out stuff about you, for safe measure.

Psst... cheers! You too. I didn't get to see the Undertones, no. I saw the Damned though and they were rubbish. I'd rather have been watching the 'tones (or the Stranglers).

Yes, I do like Wales. I live in the county Cornwall in England but my Father and most of my family are Welsh, so I've always been very fond of Wales. And I had the same attitude towards the nineties, when I was slightly younger I was convinced the 90#s was the worst era for music but now I realise how wrong I was, because it produced some cracking groups and music genres.

In a Petty mood today. I'm just heartbroken that I never uploaded Mum's Traveling Wilburys collection...

I'm glad you don't think it's weird. I friend requested you. My mom lives 20 mins away from Madison in Watkinsville and the guitarist will be going to college in Statesboro. If your serious maybe we could work something out.

Yes, I have, thanks to you. I could and should have seen them in the mid-80's (yes, I am that old) so looking forward to some discordant guitar and heavy bass !

Hi, thanks for your generous words. Yeh, I can see our tastes are quite similar. I've also contributed to your album request journal. By the way, Im in Cardiff, 45 miles away from Swansea. Small world huh ??

I know exactly where Madison is. But I live in the outskirts of Atlanta, probably like an hour and a half away. Hmm do you have a facebook?

My favorite Killing Joke album is Pandemonium. Fav songs are title song, Exorcism & Millennium though the whole album is good. Love Requim and The Death & Resurrection Show off 'Killing Joke' album. It is amazing how many bands these guys influenced. So, where were you before Wales?

Thanks! Not a Smashing Pumpkins fan? ... they are one of my favs. I am checking out Gang of Four from your library ... some good stuff here ... punk with a twist. Interesting in the LFM bio that 'Michael “Flea” Balzary of Red Hot Chili Peppers has stated Gang of Four were very influential on his band’s early music.' Similar to Killing Joke's influence (on many other groups)?

yeah dont just limit yourself to those albums, especially with someone like the fall, who have a ton of great albums that are all pretty much equally awesome

Yep, Dick Around's a dynamite track. I often find it difficult to articulate Sparks' most recent sound so I tend to just point people to that song. And then listen to it about ten times in a row myself: the thing's a menace.

Real music fans are everywhere, but I bet most are just ensconced in their homes cranking out their favourite tunes :P
