Thanks, and I'd be interested in the cover you mentioned. Enjoy Pixies next month (they were quite unexpectedly amazing last week).

i got it!!! as long as the artist metadata is properly filled out on the mixtapes, i can tag the 'album artist' field as various artists and thatll be ok b/c all my various artists albums i will know they are mixtapes so it wont freak me out as much. just have to be sure there is some kind of album artwork & everything else is proper. just thought you might like to know i am a little less stressed now. thanks.

yeah but if somebody turns me onto a band in the mixtape group i'll just go get the full album. or maybe just burn the mixtapes and delete the files... oh goodness, now you've got me all stressed out...

yeah, i might try to find it but i have these strange rules i set for myself. like i can't just have stray songs, it has to be complete albums. and i try to stay away from greatest hits albums because thats cheating and a tribute album would have various artists on it which would be a pain in the ass to tag properly and have it display correctly on itunes... i'm sure you can see my dilemma.

I wouldn't mind a CD if that's not too much trouble =] We seem to have great music compatibility so surprise me I'm sure it'll be great.

Cheers. You should definitely try to listen to They Showed Me the Secret Beaches - that's the best one, by far. Also, for some UK Post-Rock mixes, go here: http://www.last.fm/group/UK+Post-Rock/forum/118725/_/524280/2#f10302088

Where's that Mazzy Star cover from that you're listening to? Very interested! And I see we're both seeing The Horrors between here and Xmas.

oh, and couldn't, for the life of me unpack your Q&A mix, must be something wrong on your end, 'cause the singer-songwriter just went fine. could you upload it again? (the Nico song was a very pleasant surprise!)

Hi! I'll make you a reggae playlist all right, but keep in mind that 'reggae' is like 'rock' in that there may be worlds of differences between tracks which fit the genre. I'll assume you know the Marley greatest hits, and take it from there. If you've very kindly volunteered to make me not one, but two mixtapes this month, I can hardly back out of making the Q&A mix with such a lame reason as it being difficult. I'll try my best and draw one up for you. Cheers.

Hi, do have Red (by the Guillemots) now, had heard of the band before but didn't listen to them very extensively; just got the new Apostle of Hustle, one of your recommendations from the past, but haven't listened to that one yet. Saw some great concerts this week: Fleet Foxes in Amsterdam on tuesday was breathtaking....what a magnificent band, what a great vocals! I was really impressed; and Kings of Leon yesterday evening in my Rottterdam was great too, a fantastic rock concert from a band I really admire; the crowd went mad although the heat was almost unbearable. This weekend I'll see some interesting new Dutch bands in a park in my hometown, and then holiday. 'See you' and take care!

Hi! I'm not sure. I think this month's theme will be very hard for me, there are usually no questions in any reggae songtitle, and other than that, I mostly listen to stuff that have no lyrics at all, and thus no sentence-like titles either. I'll have to think harder than usual:) Singer-songwriters I'd like to know more of, male-female alike, I guess. What is it that you'd like to see on the mixtape you'll be getting?
